Summerfield JV Boys basketball fell to 1-1 on the young season, losing at tough game at Airport 43-40.

For the third year in a row, the JV Bulldogs and JV Jets played arguably their most exciting games of the season against each other. After falling in OT to the Jets each of the previous 2 seasons, the Bulldogs held the lead (again) down the stretch, but couldn’t put the Jets away. Once again, a nip-n-tuck, back-and-fourth game came down to the wire. While there were no buzzer beating heroics this season as there were in the previous two, it was the Jets who once again prevailed.

Noah Dusseau lead the Bulldogs in scoring with 15, and Keith Richards chipped in 10. Airport was lead by an outstanding game from PG Cole VanWashonova, who had a game high 17 which included 3 triples.

The Bulldogs will see their next action Thursday Dec. 14 at Clinton.
